The Level Distance Race can be built with one sheet of plywood. The sheet was trimmed to 36" then cut in half for easy transport. The left over 1' x 8' was cut down the middle and used for sides. The base is put together using biscuits to insure that the seams come together flush.

The Hallway track can be built using only two sheets. Cut down to 6 feet x 36". The cut offs from the base leave enough for the side walls. The joint for the hallway base is cut at 45 degrees ( 6' to 3' ). This seam is also held together flush using biscuits as well.

Here are some close ups of the hurdles that were used for the Obstacles.

Not including the Hurdles...3 sheets of plywood used.

It was assembled in 20 minutes using drywall screws and finishing washers. Once it is assembled it is sturdy enough to be moved. Was dis-assembled and stacked in about 10 minutes

The whole track set breaks down to lie flat in a Dodge Mini-Van.
